Dr Francois Talbot

As Chairman and co-founder of Talbot & Talbot, Francois has developed, directed and lead the company from a small Laboratory in 1989 to the reputable company it is today. Francois sits as Chairman on the Board of Directors and values the concepts of business management and the importance of developing people. He has worked throughout Africa representing the company.

Francois graduated a BSc in zoology and chemistry and ended up with a PhD in Chemistry. He has 30 years of experience in aquatic biology, analytical chemistry and water and wastewater engineering solutions. Francois is a registered Professional Scientist (Pr Sci Nat), a Member of the South African Chemical Institute (MSACI), and
a Member of the South African Institute of Ecologists (MSAIE). He is a well-respected industry leader in the field of wastewater analyses and treatment and sits on research steering committees for the Water Research Commission and various universities. Francois, in his position as Chairman now focuses on mentoring in the fields of water and wastewater treatment, analytical chemistry and specialist environmental impact studies.”
